Taranaki Survivor: Episode 14

The greatest internet classroom blogging competition of all time is drawing to a conclusion... it started in April... twenty competitors this week the final five contestants are revealed...
whose game was about to end... who would make it through a step closer towards the grand final...

In a shocking twist this challenge was filmed straight after the vote from the previous episode- this meant the teams had not chance to converse or plan who to vote for, who could be trusted? Would the group of students from Room One stick together again?

What of the immunity idols? Where are they? Has the super immunity idol, the fabled horse of power, been located? Someone is playing their cards close to their chest - will it be revealed this episode? Who is the person who is secretly hiding power waiting until the moment they strike? Someone is biding their time until a move is made - will it be too late? Has the moment passed or is the biggest blindside in the game just about to happen...  Someone is smiling - will it turn to a frown this episode?

Is another blind-side on the cards? Who would YOU trust? All these answers and some more are about to be answered in Episode 14 of the Greatest Classroom Blog Challenge of All time!

All competitors had to do this week was stack ten blocks end on end - in twenty five seconds, of course it sounds easy but everyone was desperate for immunity to advance to the next round.  No-one wanted to go home and someone was about to have to.

Jamesen's Bald Eagle Research

As part of our #Global Pals project we've been looking at studying several different countries and animals for our friends from Mrs Monaghan Class in the UK, Miss Crowther and her class in Australia and Mrs Yollis and her class in the United States.  Jamesen (who is 'half' American) has been looking at the Bald Eagle.  Our favourite fact and one we didn't know was that its proper name is the 'Pie Bald Eagle' which means 'white' (in old English) and its name has been shortened to 'Bald Eagle' which is why a Bald Eagle isnt bald!  We are really excited to be part of this project and looking forward to can't wait for the arrival of our first visitor!

Taranaki Survivor: Episode 12

The greatest classroom internet blogging challenge of all time is about to have the final seven contestants revealed who will make up the final team! That means for one player the dream is about to end and another member will be added to the jury.   Whero had finally won a challenge in episode 11 after a run of six consecutive eliminations... could they go back to back and regain some of the lost momentum? Who would survive the challenge? Would another immunity idol come into play? What would the final seven look like? All these questions are about to be answered in the broadcasting of Taranaki Survivor: Episode 12: 'Catch me if you can!'

TaranakiSurvivorEpisode12 from myles webb on Vimeo.

Teams had to select a team member who was chosen to throw a block, the rest of the team were given cups with which to catch the bricks on the full. Both teams had competitors in the field at the same time interrupting and clashing with each other in a challenge that was about to go down to the wire... even more was at stake in the vote... no-one wanted the tag of being 'nearly' in the final team and someone was about to go home.... all shortly to be revealed...
